Soundings: A Contemporary Score

Soundings: A Contemporary Score was MoMA’s first major exhibition of sound art, curated by Barbara London. The exhibition’s website features a scrolling gallery of installation images with sound samples as well as integration with SoundCloud so that visitors can post their own geo-tagged field recordings to map on the site. Fully responsive (mobile, tablet, desktop) and built to MoMA’s exacting archival standards, the site uses visual cues from scores and sound waves to organize and interpret exhibition materials and didactic information.
